SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Brazilian shares climbed Friday as investors drove up shares of market heavyweights CVRD and Petrobras as well as newly listed shares of the Brazilian Stock Exchange, while Mexican stocks slipped following a quarter-point increase by central bankers of the country's key interest rate.
