Council considers backflow protection (The Torrington Telegram)

At their regular Tuesday meeting, the Torrington City Council passed on first reading an ordinance to require backflow devices on plumbing in the city. Backflow devices prevent possibly contaminated water from flowing back from a property into the potable water supply.
