Mortgages: 30-year fixed-rate mortgage stays at record low

The 30-year fixed-rate mortgage averaged 4.57% for the week ending July 15, unchanged from last week when it hit a record low, according to Freddie Mac's weekly survey of conforming mortgage rates, released on Thursday.
