Shares of homebuilders fell Monday as the market braced for nasty warnings from companies in a struggling sector. Last month, Lennar Corp. and KB Home said they lost nearly 1 billion dollars combined last quarter because of restricted access to mortgage loans, too many homes for sale and waning confidence among potential buyers.
