US package somewhat reassuring (The Star)

THE threat of a full blown financial crisis in the US, given that a recession will accentuate financial losses and worsen the liquidity and credit crunch, has lessened somewhat bolstered by the US$150bil economic package announced by the Bush administration last week, experts said.
